Culture Exchange Global
About Us
Culture Exchange Global(CEG) started a few years back when volunteers came to Ghana with their intention of contributing to the Ghanaian Society by engaging in volunteering work in various fields.CEG saw the need to help volunteers adapt to  the difference in cultures by helping them to feel welcome and accepted in the country. These volunteers were given the opportunity to engage in our way of life by enjoying our local dishes eg Fufu,Banku,Fried ripe plantain and beans etc, visiting tourist centers as well as learn how to speak some of our local dialect(Twi,Fante,Hauza etc)

CEG Now

CEG today gives the opportunity to volunteers to live with Ghanaian host families in Kumasi which is the capital city of the Ashanti Region.Kumasi because it is centrally placed city in Ghana with easy accessibility to the different regions of the country and very economically cheaper to live in this part of the country. Tradition is held very high in Kumasi and blends well with modernity.Volunteers get to experience the true Ghanaian lifestyle, enjoy the local Ghanaian foods and the hospitality of their host families whilst at the same time engaging themselves in their individual volunteering fields.. Ghanaians are very caring and hospitable people.Volunteers  gain a deep understanding of the rich Ghanaian culture as they get the opportunity to visit exciting and interesting places like the Manhyia Palace, the seat of the King of Ashanti situated in the northern part of the City,Lake Bosomtwi one of the largest natural lakes in Ghana is about 32 kilometres Southeast of Kumasi among others.
